Ray Masters are manufacturers of very high quality filters. The Zero filters are made from light weight optical organic glass which is very versatile and have very good neutrality. These are so neutral that they don't affect colour even when stacked with other Zero filters
These graduated filters are clear in the bottom half with a soft gradual transition to the ND effect in the top half of the filter. They are primarily used for light reduction in skylines of landscape shots.
Soft graduated filters are ideal for landscapes with uneven horizons.
This Ray Masters graduated filter will reduce the light entering the camera on one half of the frame. The filter measures 75mm x 90mm enabling the graduation to be moved to suit the scene.
An ND2 will reduce the light by 1 Stop
An ND4 will reduce the light by 2 Stops
An ND8 will reduce the light by 3 Stops
An ND16 will reduce the light by 4 Stops
Neutral density filters (also known as ND’s) produce a grey neutral tone and are used to reduce light, enabling more control over exposure and depth of field without affecting colour or contrast. They are especially useful in bright light conditions to avoid overexposure. Since ND filters uniformly reduce light at all wavelengths, there is no effect of the colour rendition.
These filters will fit Lee Seven5, Ray Masters and most 75mm Holders .
