Kood Orange Black & White Lens Filter Digital and Film Camera B&W

The Kood Orange Black & White coloured filters are designed to alter the effect of different colours in the scene, thus changing the contrast recorded in black and white of the different colours.

This orange filter increases the contrast between reds and yellows. It will darken skies, accentuates clouds and strongly subdue ambient light. For architectural photography, it will help bring out the texture of stones and bricks etc.

Suitable For Digital and Film cameras with B&W films.

With a Digital camera, this filter can be used in either colour or Black & White mode. In colour mode please set the camera to manual white balance other wise the camera will compensate for the colour cast.  For Black & White shooting mode, set the camera to Black & White and use it like a film camera.

This filter is double threaded so another filter, adapter or hood can be mounted onto it.

Top Tip - If you are unsure of the size you require, most lens caps will have the filter thread size stamped on the back of them. The lens will also have an indication somewhere, ususally denoted by a diameter symbol ø with a number after it which indicates the filter thread size.
